The nation’s largest youth vote organization endorses progressive candidates at all levels in Michigan
Lansing, MI – Today, NextGen PAC announced the endorsements of the following Michigan candidates. These endorsements are a critical part of NextGen PAC’s efforts to mobilize thousands of young voters across the country in support of progressive candidates in this election cycle and beyond.
NextGen PAC has endorsed the following candidates:
“Young voters are driving the momentum for progressive change, and these candidates embody the bold leadership needed to tackle our generation’s most pressing concerns,” said NextGen PAC President Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez. “From local council members to the U.S. Senate, we are endorsing leaders who are ready to defend democracy, champion bold climate action, and protect reproductive freedoms from extremist threats.”
“NextGen PAC is proud to endorse this slate of candidates up and down the ballot in Michigan,” NextGen PAC Michigan State Director Karrington Kelsey said. “These candidates have shown that they will lead on issues that matter deeply to young voters in Michigan and will be a key part in ensuring that their voice and values are in every level of Michigan government. NextGen PAC is thrilled to endorse these champions of young people across the state.”
In 2020, NextGen PAC helped mobilize 1 in every 9 young voters who cast a ballot, leading to the largest youth voter turnout in history. In 2024, NextGen PAC is focused on empowering young voters to fight for a better future, this includes endorsing progressive candidates and ballot measures, among other activities.
